Dear Senator/Congressman, As one of your constituents that pays your salary I demand that you listen to this. I am not a brain aneruysm survivor and have no plans to be. The fact of the matter is that there is not a high probability of survival at all without early detection period. We know that the technology exists to repair the problem but unless I,you, we trip over ourselves today chances are extremely high that we will not know before it is too late ! This constantly reminds me of getting a headache. We all do dont we. I can guarantee youve had your share. Point being we never really give any credence to why we got the headache or the root problem causing the headache. Am I right. So what do we do ? We take a aspirin. We take a tylenol and or some Aleve. Yep! Next thing I know my best friends father is dead! And it took an autopsy to tell his family it was a brain anerysm that took his life. Thats right sir. He could have been saved by being made aware from information provided here in Linda's site. Information that if the technology was available, which it is, and the doctors had the opportunity to diagnose, which they do, my best friend would of had a better than average chance of saving his father! The technology exists. The doctors are willing. The awareness starts with YOU! Just like we have mamograms which are so important to women and the early detect ion of breast cancer we have the tools, we have the talent, and we have the willingness to save lives together. I ask you one very simple question today. What if tomorrow it was your son, or your daughter,or someone else very close to you? You have the opportunity to do the right thing and make sure we get everyones attention. Together we will save lives. It starts with you today. Sincerely, |
